Miss UoN wins OLX baby shower reward

The 23-year-old beauty queen, who is also an ambassador at the National Epilepsy coordination committee, was announced the winner after baby shower enthusiasts from across the country shared baby shower plans of the ‘moms-to-be’ with the online classifieds marketplace for a chance to win the Sh50,000 worth of shopping.
“I am so humble that my friends went out of their way to do this for me, I am so blessed, I can’t stop crying, and to think that my husband knew and never mentioned it even once, this is the biggest surprise of my life”, said Mugambi.
She is currently setting up her epilepsy foundation to which she says, “It is such a noble cause and I am doing everything possible to further the awareness of epileptics in Kenya.”
The campaign which ran from June 15-22 saw over 200 baby shower plans shared to OLX. Social media influencers who helped spread the word were Size 8, DJ Soxxy and the ‘king of Instagram’ XtianDela. It was aimed at promoting the OLX kids and babies’ category
